2025 Farmland Bid Public Notice
LEGAL NOTICE
The City of Hillsboro is accepting sealed bids for the lease of 126.85 acres, more or less, of crop land located at Liberty Park on US 62 North in Hillsboro. This is cash rent only for three years: beginning on the bid award date March 1, 2025 through the 31st day of December 2028. Sealed bids will be received until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at the City Administration Building, Attn: Megan Blackburn, 130 North High Street, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Sealed bids must contain full name of bidder, address, and telephone number and shall be accompanied by a sufficient bond or certified check, cashier’s check or money order for the lease amount for Year One. A bid packet is available for review at the City Administration Building in the Mayor’s Office. Bid must be marked on the outside envelope as “Lease Crop Land.” Please call 937- 393-5219 for additional information. The City of Hillsboro, Ohio, reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
