Event Description:

The Annual Shop with a Cop event is scheduled for tomorrow, December 19, 2017. The Hillsboro Police Department will be joining the Highland County Sheriff's Office along with other law enforcement departments from Brown County to shop with approximately 50 children who were selected from each of the schools in Highland and Brown County.

There will be approximately 50 cruisers going through the center of Hillsboro with lights on (no sirens again this year) from US 62 south headed northbound to Walmart on Harry Sauner Road between 9:00 am and 9:45 am.  After shopping with the kids, we will be headed to Dakotas for lunch then Star Cinemas for a movie.

Please be patient with the traffic and keep in mind for those 50 children it will be remembered as one of the most special days of their lives.
