Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Hillsboro City Auditor's office is responsible for all financial operations of the city.  All revenues are recorded in this office under the direction of the treasurer.  All of the City's expenses are paid under the direction of the Auditor.  In addition, the Auditor prepares the tax budget, the annual appropriations ordinance, and various financial reports.  Copies of the annual financial statements and audit reports are available at the Auditor's office, the Mayor's office, the Highland County Chamber of Commerce, and the Hillsboro Public Library.
